SANTA IS A TEXTILE AND INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO THAT OFFERS LIMITED COLLECTIONS AS WELL AS CUSTOMISED AND SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED TEXTILES INSPIRED BY THE LANDSCAPES OF L'EMPORDÀ, HOME OF FOUNDERS CÉSAR CARCABOSO AND JOSEP VICENS.
It is the ideal balance we look for in our projects, the fusion between neutrality with a touch of personality that allows us to highlight the story we want to tell.
Singularity. The combination of colours, textures and shapes gives The Masie universe a unique character.
We are two people with different priorities: Josep values functionality, while César focuses on aesthetics. Finding the balance is a challenge, but together we form the perfect tandem for any project.
Decorating your home is an opportunity to discover who you are and what you want. The essential thing is that the space reflects your lifestyle and fits your mood. A home that understands you makes life so much more enjoyable.
Quite the opposite, like avoiding trends! In a world full of inputs, social media can be a death trap of ideas. We prefer to be inspired by what surrounds us, the everyday, visiting museums, travelling or meeting new people; in order to discover a story that makes us fall in love and create a truly unique space.
We don't stick to a single trend; our style draws from different references. However, right now we are attracted to darkness, sharp silhouettes and a touch of light thanks to steel and imperfect finishes. Soon we will launch a textile collection that plays in this new world; craftsmanship and a summer night in our land, l'Empordà.
In March, we embarked on a styling project in Luxembourg, curating furniture and art for a three-storey house and garden. It was a challenge in an unfamiliar country, but we did it! To have a Joe Colombo armchair and pieces by Lib Shkupolli is a real source of pride. Now, in September, we face a new challenge: to design an ephemeral space that must constantly transform. We are very excited to show the result!

Without a doubt, Camper. The transformation of their image in recent years, the rebelliousness in their designs and how they play with and challenge the architecture in their shops through local craftsmanship, seems fascinating to us. We don't hear much about it! We would love to be part of their new era by playing with the design of their shops through our vision and merging artists like Ther or Turbina.

There are two of us, so we can't marry just one. So dark green and anthracite.
Despite living in Barcelona, the countryside! It is our source of inspiration and what defines us.
The atmospheres created by Colin King, the silhouettes of Linde Freya in Destroyers Builders, the colours of Gaetano Pesce and the casual but traditional look of Kito Muñoz.
Five years ago, just before the launch of Santa, we went on a trip to Japan in the midst of an existential crisis. Did we like our work? Was this the life we wanted? Everything changed when we visited the 21st Century Museum in Kanazawa, where we found references that still inspire us today and that have surely marked the beginning of this era.
