Creative, photographer, and content creation expert. Founder of Casa B, a coliving space aimed at individuals passionate about design, art, and culture.
I chose them because it’s the brand that offers exactly what I needed. Casa B was conceived as a space for students where design and exclusivity were the strengths, without losing sight of functionality and comfort. I needed furniture with character and color to complete the aesthetic of the space.
Design and color.
This space is intended for students, and all students have their home in their place of origin, their Casa A, hence the name of the coliving, “Casa B: your second home”.
Since it is a design space and Valencia is a city with a long tradition in furniture manufacturing, each of the five rooms is named after an iconic chair from design history, and the interior will have references to the design movement from which each chair originates:
PANTON, 420 C, PLIA, TOLIX, AND CESCA.
Both my husband and I enjoy a challenge. We like a project.
I am a photographer, and he is a technical architect by training, but he has never practiced. Three years ago, we completed the house where we live @casadelhorta, and we saw that we knew how to do this.
My skills as a visual creator and his technical knowledge make a good team. This team is joined by my friend Antonio, an architect and founder of Goor Studio. We formed a good team creating @casadelhorta and decided to repeat the process. This time as an investment and seeking an aesthetic line that is completely different from the previous project.
The choice wasn’t complicated. Among the most iconic, I selected the 5 that I liked the most and that, due to their popularity, were easy to find a replica of.
I knew from the beginning that the Cesca and Panton were two of them; they couldn’t be missing. I needed them to serve as desk chairs, so all those that looked more like armchairs than chairs were not suitable. The 420C, Plia, and Tolix were the other 3 that completed the group.
I am particularly proud of two things:
The entrance to the house with that semi-vault idea from Goor Studio (the architects of this project) that emerged once the work had already started, giving an unexpected twist to the script. It gives an incredible spectacularity to the entrance. But when we placed the yellow RADI oval tables from The Masie, I almost cried. They are the perfect combination. The other thing I am particularly proud of is the retro-illuminated stainless steel circle in the kitchen. It was conceived as a decorative piece that was not easy to execute, but we finally succeeded. When I saw it installed, I said, “It’s a moon, the moon of Valencia,” and everything made sense without my having planned it.
First, it’s important to have a concept and know where you want to go. Then, seek inspiration that helps reinforce your idea, look for references, and create a moodboard that explains your concept.
Once you have that, surround yourself with the right people to bring it to life.

Klein Blue.
For this project, Minimalism and Neo Memphis.
I want both; I like the countryside near the city.
Paolo Sorrentino, Glen Luchford, Schiaparelli, Rosalía, Apartamento Magazine, Jacquemus, Helmut Newton… there are so many people doing incredible things or who did so in their time that it's hard to synthesize.
